City Rewinds & Drives Ltd is an electric motors and drives, rewind, repair, service, solutions and sales company with bases in Leicester and Derby, providing knowledgeable support to companies 24 hours per day every day of the year. We have 3 vehicles for collection and return of customers’ jobs and we mainly operate within a 60 minute travel time of the company base.

City Rewinds & Drives Ltd employs 13 people including 7 time-served rewinders. The directors have a combined 70 years experience in AC and DC motors and drives supplemented with a further combined employee experience of over 100 years gained with many companies in the UK and overseas. The company operates from a 4000 sq.ft building.

Primarily we offer comprehensive repair and rewind services for AC and DC motors (including Traction motors, Schrage motors, and Alternators), geared-motor units, pumps, and fans. We also provide system solutions and repairs for AC inverter drives and DC drives.

We stock Siemens motors and a proven quality low-cost range to give customers the best options for their needs.

Our site services include; Planned Maintenance Equipment, Survey and Cataloguing, Review of Critical Equipment and Back-up Stock, Thermal Imaging (Thermography), Vibration Analysis, and Balancing.
